In technical rescue, the heat generated during rapid descents or heavy-load lowering is a primary cause of synthetic rope failure. Standard covers can glaze or fuse under intense friction, which compromises the rope’s integrity. Our Tutus Firex is specifically engineered for these high-stress scenarios, utilizing a Technora® and Nylon blended cover.
The Technora® content maintains structural integrity up to 500°C, providing the thermal stability required for multiple high-speed cycles in a single operation. Furthermore, our Tutus Static range is constructed from 100% polyamide (Nylon), providing the essential energy absorption needed to keep fall-arrest impact forces below the 6kN safety threshold, even when moving two-person rescue loads.
Water Rescue and Floating Response Systems
For swift water rescue and maritime emergency response, buoyancy and visibility are the critical performance metrics. We provide specialized 8-Plait Polypropylene ropes designed to remain high in the water column, preventing entanglement in submerged debris or vessel props.
Our Throwline range is engineered for rapid deployment and easy handling in wet conditions.
