Dyneema® DC75 & 75XPS: SK75 Single Braid for Halyard Cores and Control Lines
Dyneema DC75 is a pure SK75 Dyneema® single braid, supplied without a cover as a lightweight, high-strength core for a wide range of sailing and rigging applications. Stock colour is charcoal grey. The 75XPS variant is pre-stretched using the XPS process, delivering significantly higher breaking loads at equivalent diameters. At 9mm core for example, the 75XPS achieves 10,800kg average spliced strength against the DC75’s 6,940kg.
The standard DC75 runs from 2.5mm to 20mm core diameter. The 75XPS variant is available from 6mm core upward. Sizes marked with an asterisk are made to order. Minimum order quantity is 100m across all sizes.

SK75 Single Braid Dyneema® — DC75 and 75XPS
Dyneema DC75 and 75XPS are single braid constructions in pure SK75 Dyneema® fibre, produced without a cover for applications where minimum diameter and maximum strength-to-weight ratio are the primary requirements. The bare construction makes the rope easy to inspect for wear along its full length, and splicing is straightforward using standard Dyneema® splice techniques. The XPS pre-stretching process works the braid geometry under controlled load before leaving the factory, producing a rope that performs to its rated specification immediately. At 6mm core, the 75XPS achieves 4,570kg average spliced breaking load against the DC75’s 3,490kg — a 31% increase at the same diameter.

Halyard Cores, Control Lines and Wire Rope Replacement
DC75 and 75XPS are used either as standalone lines or as cores inside sheathed constructions such as covered halyards and control lines. As a standalone uncovered line, both variants work as sheets, tack lines, lashings, strops and direct wire rope replacements where reducing weight aloft is a priority. At equivalent breaking load to stainless steel wire, a Dyneema® single braid runs at a fraction of the mass and floats if dropped overboard.
