Cruising Dyneema®
Cruising Dyneema® is a blended SK75 Dyneema® and polypropylene 12-strand core sailing rope with a 24-plait polyester cover, heat set and pre-stretched by up to 10% for consistent low-stretch performance from first use. It delivers measurably less stretch than standard polyester braid-on-braid across halyards, sheets and control lines, replacing polyester size-for-size across 6mm to 12mm with no hardware changes required.
The polyester cover provides the familiar handling, abrasion resistance and splicability of a conventional sailing rope, while the Dyneema® blended core reduces extension at 50% load to 1.5%. Available in four colour options for line identification on deck.

Cruising Dyneema® — SK75 Blended Core Sailing Rope
Cruising Dyneema® uses a blended SK75 Dyneema® and polypropylene 12-strand core with a 24-plait polyester cover, giving measurably lower stretch than standard polyester braid-on-braid across halyards, sheets and control lines. At 1.5% extension at 50% load it outperforms pre-stretched polyester across all running rigging applications. Breaking loads run from 2,000kg at 6mm to 4,400kg at 12mm on spliced terminations. The polyester cover handles abrasion against blocks, clutches and organisers in the same way as conventional sailing rope, and the construction splices cleanly using standard polyester techniques. Available in four colour options for halyard and sheet identification on deck.

Halyards, Sheets and Control Lines for Cruising Yachts
Cruising Dyneema® is designed for cruising sailors running standard polyester braid-on-braid who want lower stretch and better sail response from their halyards, sheets and control lines without moving to a full performance racing construction. It replaces polyester size-for-size across 6mm to 12mm, so existing clutches, exit boxes and blocks need no modification. For performance cruising and racing applications requiring maximum low-stretch performance, our Racing Dyneema® and Racing Dyneema® Pro ranges use pure SK78 and SK99 fibre.
