Dynastay

Dynastay is a high-performance single braid rope manufactured from pre-stretched Dyneema® DM20 — the industry’s leading low-creep fibre for static applications. Designed specifically for standing rigging and load-bearing roles in the leisure marine racing sector, Dynastay offers exceptional dimensional stability over time, even under constant load.

Unlike conventional Dyneema grades, DM20 delivers unmatched resistance to creep, making it the ideal fibre for forestays, backstays, and other static rigging applications where long-term elongation cannot be tolerated. The rope is pre-stretched for enhanced strength-to-diameter performance and minimal constructional movement.

Dynastay combines all the benefits of Dyneema — including low weight, excellent UV resistance, zero water absorption, and high abrasion resistance — with the long-term security required by racing teams and high-performance sailors.

Available in a range of diameters and colours on request, and designed for straightforward splicing and handling.

Typical Applications
  • Forestays and backstays
  • Standing rigging for racing yachts
  • Lashings and soft shackles
  • Structural sailing components under static load
