English Braids’ 3-Strand Pre-Stretched rope is a high-performance cable-laid polyester line, engineered for applications where reduced stretch and maximum stability are essential. This rope is based on our standard 3-strand design but with a modified, harder lay to improve performance while maintaining a well-balanced structure.

Post-lay, the rope undergoes a tensioned heat treatment process that relieves constructional stress and minimises extension under load. The result is a durable, low-stretch rope that resists hockling and kinking yet remains easy to splice—offering excellent performance with a simple, traditional construction.

Exceeding British Standard requirements, it is a reliable choice for halyards, luff lines, lifting applications, and winching.
