Unmatched Strength and Reliability in Heavy Lifting

Steel Wire Replacement and Engineered Slings

In heavy-duty lifting, the mass and handling hazards of steel wire are significant operational bottlenecks. We specialise in Dyneema® SK78 and HMPE steel wire replacements that match the breaking loads of steel at approximately one-eighth of the weight.

Our rope slings and soft slings are essential for professional riggers, providing the ultra-low stretch and high fatigue resistance needed for repetitive high-load cycles. Unlike steel, these synthetic systems do not store dangerous amounts of elastic energy. This virtually eliminates the risk of lethal “snap-back” or recoil if a line is compromised, ensuring a significantly safer working environment for the lifting crew.

Advanced Protection and Lifecycle Integrity

For applications requiring the highest level of mechanical resilience, our heavy lifting range is engineered to withstand intense friction and contact with sharp-edged loads.

  • Soft Sling Performance: Our high-performance soft slings utilise high-tenacity jackets designed to protect the load-bearing core from external damage. These are ideal for lifting delicate or finished assets where steel chains would cause surface marring.

  • Integrated Chafe Guards: In high-wear environments, our slings and ropes are paired with sacrificial chafe guards and ballistic nylon sleeves. These barriers manage mechanical wear at critical contact points, such as crane hooks and lifting lugs, preventing the ingress of dirt and grit which can reduce core strength by up to 50%.

  • Traceability and Compliance: Every heavy lifting product is manufactured in our UK facility with full batch traceability, supporting the rigorous six-monthly inspection cycles and retirement criteria mandated by global safety standards.
