EB Steel 8
EB Steel 8 is an 8-strand rope engineered for demanding commercial marine environments where high strength, buoyancy, and reliability are essential. Constructed from advanced polymer fibres, it delivers up to 30% more strength than conventional polypropylene ropes while retaining a low specific gravity for floatation.
The 8-strand plaited construction enhances abrasion resistance, reduces rotation under load, and improves handling—making it ideal for mooring, towing, and offshore operations. Like all ropes in the EB Steel range, it is highly resistant to most acids and alkalis and remains unaffected by water absorption.
EB Steel 8 is available in a range of diameters with optional factory-spliced eyes for fast deployment.
