On going developments to the 12 Strand Dyneema core have resulted in improved stability and easier splicing. The strength weight ratio of the product has been improved while the critical properties of low stretch, low weight and superb durability have been retained to deliver a first class product for performance halyards. The extensive colour range is offered to ensure line identification.

Designed to provide a halfway house to the average sailor, the cruising Dyneema has proved to be an outstanding success. With lower water pick up, low stretch and brilliant handling characteristics the line has been widely accepted on both dingy and cruising boats. Critically the design has been focused on ensuring ease of splicing and workability. Covered in the standard 24 plait polyester cover, used for EB Braid on Braid, the Dyneema core is protected against heat and abrasion.

Changes in production process have driven the quality of the product upwards and still this remains our most popular choice for the everyday yachtsman. Pre-stretched yet easily spliceable, braid on braid resists kinking and maintains a level of flexibility in all conditions. An extensive range of colours provides people with an almost limitless choice.

The outstanding low stretch and stability of Vectran* offer the racing yachtsman a halyard that maintains sail load under varying wind conditions. Vectran* rope has a polyester cover for durability over running gear and winches.

This rope is made in 100% high tenacity polyester and has an almost parallel fibre core for low stretch. The braided cover gives the durability and sheave wear resistance and our precise heat processing reduces the stretch to make this a high performance sheet rope. This rope is the traditional cruising sheet construction. It is made from spun polyester braided cover over a double braided core to give superb hand grip, yet high strength and low stretch. The 16 plait cover is soft yet durable and with the appearance of cotton but will not rot or degrade.

Also available for wooden boats is our buff or hemp coloured polyester 3 strand. This rope is soft and supple and brings a traditional appearance to halyards and mooring lines. Matt buff coloured polyester rope is durable and will not rot or degrade.

Sportline is a soft, flexible polyester rope with matt finish for good handling in all weathers. The rope has a doublebraided construction so performs well and splices easily. It is available in white or natural looking buff colour for traditional boats.

This rope is the soft option when constant handling is a factor. Combining both strength and flexibility, Matt Polyester 3 strand splices easily and stays soft and supply in use. Ideal for locking ropes on inland waterways, docklines and general use.
