16 Plait Matt Polyester
Used commonly in theatrical applications the matt appearance provides a non reflective cover to the rope. The softer finish means that the polyester rope is easy on hands while delivering all of the benefits that a polyester product has to offer.
12 Strand Dyneema
The 12 strand rope is produced using the Dyneema SK75 fibre. Used in applications from body armour through to snowboarding the product has many characteristics that differentiate itself from normal fibres. 12 Strand Dyneema ropes are frequently used in the replacement of wire, driven through the substantial reduction in weight and the lack of stored kinetic energy. The product is exceptionally strong with low stretch and is capable of withstanding most environmental variables. It is not suitable for use in environments where extreme heat may be a consideration.
Sash Cords and Black Sash
A comprehensive range of sash cords produced from natural fibres. The range covers products both suitable for the theatrical arena as well as the traditional use of the window industry.
12 Strand Technora
Using the same practical construction as the Dyneema the Technora has two key features that should be considered when matching to the application. Being part of the Aramid family it is exceptionally resistant to heat and it is naturally black therefore suited to theatrical applications. Available in a range of sizes and lengths.
3 Strand Polyester
3 strand construction polyester ropes are both flexible and sliceable yet strong. The careful process of twisting and balancing yarns has been developed over time to develop a top quality perfectly balanced rope. The characteristics of polyester deliver a hard wearing product capable of withstanding harsh conditions with little user maintenance.
3 Strand Polyester Pre-Stretched
The same product as the standard 3 strand but constructed to slightly different twist levels as is a significantly stretched in manufacturing without reducing any of the strength properties. Importantly this does deliver a slightly harder lay to the rope.
3 Strand Nylon
A classic 3 strand Nylon rope. One of the oldest and most favoured man made fibres used in a variety of applications. Nylon shows low levels of resistance to acids and therefore this should be considered before application.
3 Strand Polypropylene
A low cost polypropylene alternative to nylon or polyester. Typically used in low load applications where cost is key or the product needs to be able to float.
Braid on Braid
A pre-stretched heat set polyester double braid delivers exceptional all round performance to many markets. The 24 plait cover provides high levels of wear and better core coverage than other constructions. The heat setting process means that the rope is perfectly balanced and avoids kinking. It is easy to splice with low stretch at working loads.
Sportline Buff
A traditional looking matt finished polyester rope. Providing all of the benefits of a modern synthetic rope with the look of a traditional fibre rope.
Polyester covered Dyneema
Using the same underlying design as the 12 strand winch/Tow line the polyester jacket offers protection in certain circumstances where a jacket is more suited to the application. It can also be easily spliced and will retain high levels of the initial breaking loads.
Bungee Range and Accessories
Premiums range of bungee cords all providing extensions in excess of 100% of the starting lengths. Covered with either a nylon or Polypropylene cover (available in multiple colours).
IBEXactor
PowerSpring is a high-strength elastic tension spring with a natural rubber core and braided fibre inner and outer covers.
It can be used in a wide variety of applications, often as an alternative to a conventional steel extension spring over which it has a number of advantages. PowerSpring can be manufactured with different fibre sheathing/ coverings and a variety of end fittings suited to individual applications and the environment in which it is used. If used in place of a steel extension spring a variety of advantages can be gained.
