Team B4 Ego

English Braids sponsorship Team B4 Ego has had a re-rig on 'Panic'. Our East Coast Marine Manager Peter Emmons spent an afternoon splicing all kinds of rope, ready for Panic to get racing.

English Braids Support Panic

Richard Wood

Richard Wood is our newest and most admired athlete who has a story to tell the world and in return will gain support and realise his dream. Richard rowed the Atlantic single handed in 2004 and raised a phenomenal amount of money for charity. In 2006 Richard suffered a stroke leaving the entire left hand side of his body paralysed. In 2015, Richard plans to row across the Pacific Ocean solo, and with one hand, a challenge that has never been done before.

Richard will be having a 4 part TV series made about him and his challenge ahead and wishes to include English Braids in the TV show and at each step of his preparation to gain as much publicity for himself as possible. Richards dream is to establish a world renowned neurological rehabilitation centre in Worcestershire as a part of his charity.

We will be with him every step of the way.

Team Carsington

Team Carsington are gaining momentum at the exciting prospect of this year’s Europe and UK Grand Prix series. This year they will be competing in June at Lake Garda, Hungary, Travemunde, and Istanbul.

Last year the team managed 3rd place in the nationals despite having a combined age of 142!

James Hadden

English Braids would like to welcome aboard new sponsor, Finn sailor James Hadden, currently ranked second in the UK on the RYA rankings. James has a number of UK and European events scheduled for 2012 and the EB team look forward to working with him.
