On going developments to the 12 Strand Dyneema core have resulted in improved stability and easier splicing. The strength weight ratio of the product has been improved while the critical properties of low stretch, low weight and superb durability have been retained to deliver a first class product for performance halyards. The extensive colour range is offered to ensure line identification.

Designed to provide a halfway house to the average sailor, the cruising Dyneema has proved to be an outstanding success. With lower water pick up, low stretch and brilliant handling characteristics the line has been widely accepted on both dingy and cruising boats. Critically the design has been focused on ensuring ease of splicing and workability. Covered in the standard 24 plait polyester cover, used for EB Braid on Braid, the Dyneema core is protected against heat and abrasion.

Changes in production process have driven the quality of the product upwards and still this remain our most popular choice for the everyday yachtsman. Pre-stretched yet easily spliceable, braid on braid resists kinking and maintains a level of flexibility in all conditions. An extensive range of colours provides people with an amlmost limitless choice.

Sprintline 16 plait pre-stretched polyester is a high performance line for dinghy halyards, control lines, outhauls, lanyards and leach lines. The line is smoother and more flexible than 8 plait but has the same low stretch and extended bright colour range.
